Smith and Jones : Forgotten how much I like Martha Jones – a strong intelligent companion even if, *sigh* she falls in love with the Dr again (at least that doesn’t happen next season),  "Crossing the path of established events is strictly forbidden – except for cheap tricks, first note about absorbing radiation"

The Shakespeare Code : "Just walk about like you own the place – works for me", "then I can get sectioned", great creepy choral music again, excellent CGI city shots (how much effort for a 1 second sweep over the city to the globe), "57 academics just punched the air", mention eternals again, first referrence to Liz 1 pissed off, ‘magic’ in Dr Who kinda silly but forgiven for so many good performances (Shakespear in particular)

Gridlock : *sigh* – back to another naff RTD one – we know he can be really good so why is he so variable?, super cheap show, ludicrous giant crab monstors, when they wrote the Face of Bo dying did they know it was Jack…?

Daleks in Manhattan / Evolution of the Daleks : Random excuse for a song, another pair of fairly cheap episodes with reasonable CG monster, interesting ‘evolving dalek’ idea but come-and-gone too quickly to really make any impact (the same but much worse for Davros next season)

The Lazarus Experiment : Really nothing-y, looks like all the money went on the CGI monster and that moved too quickly to appreciate it, main bad guy really not good acting…

42 : Nice high tension bottle episode, David Tennant chronic over-acting, the Dr scared – really?, felt sympathy for all of the red-shirts in this ep so they must have done well

Human Nature / The Family of Blood : Nice throw-away mention of Time Agents vortex manipulator, can’t get more British than public school, awww – I love these characters (teacher and nurse), genuinely scary daylight monsters (scarecrows) – never mind red balloon girl, kissing… so unfair :-(…, reference that Martha wants a relationship with the Dr – *sigh*, wonderful 1st world war metaphore and imagry, it’s so sad ("I’m just a story")…, "How easily we accept these ideas" – Redfern, "Lonely – and that’s what you want me to become…?", "He burns at the center of time and can feel the turn of the universe…", "Falling in love never occurred to him, then what sort of man is he?, "And now you want me to die….", why can Rose have him next season and nurse Redfern can’t :-(, vision of their future – I cried…, "We could try again" – is he proposing a relationship…?, excellent ending shows what the Dr is capable of…
Blink : Top of the class SF, girl playing Sally Sparrow is very good (and cute) but actually I’m glad she was only in one episode – I like that she had her little self-enclosed story arc, Weeping Angels only slightly scary – being send back in time 30 years a PItA for sure but hardly that bad – they seem very different in the Matt Smith series, wonderful time-travel-ness all round..
Utopia : Oh dear RTD, squandering such good acting talent for so little gain, far future so ridiculous and irritating…
The Sound of Drums / Last of the Time Lords : Okay, the Master actor is sooo good — who builds a reality based on a flakey machine carrying on working…. Nice statue – must get me one of those when I’m supreme dictator….,  Clever ideas and well acted but a magic doctor and a Lewis Carrol ending, really…? Ah yes. The Face of Bo… 🙂 — Yes, Martha saved the universe without any magic maguffin and then chose to leave (even if it was over being spurned)… Still can’t help but think that the people who went to Utopia and now doomed to fail and die…
