While obviously I’m not a fan of the BNP I’m very uncomfortable with the idea of headteachers being able to dismiss people from teaching positions based on the religious or political views if those views don’t impact their ability to teach in a fair and open manner. 

Similarly an MP ejected from Parliament just because he lied in election material. Egregious lie for certain but was the best recourse to do this (the equivalent of firing someone for lieing on their CV)? It potentially has a chilling effect of what people may or may not say on similar flyers in future.

This one is just wrong. The UK state simply should not be in the business of trying to impose censorship at home or abroad.

It’s almost like they don’t learn that shutting down things you don’t like just makes them stronger (c.f. Streisand effect).
